Dan’s been doing improv since 2001, though not continuously — he occasionally wandered off to do other things, as one does. He’s performed both competitive short form and long form on teams at ComedySportz and All Out, mixing character voices, crisp game play, and the dry British/Canadian humour you get from growing up on Monty Python and Kids in the Hall. He’s also known for "challenging" his teammates with surprise songs, improvised poetry, or whatever else seems amusing in the moment. They love it. They do.

Dylan is a comedian, educator, and musician in the Bay Area. His offbeat sense of humor can be seen in his improv, standup and often absurd sketches. And while he now spends his days producing and coaching, his past is marked by a stint as a tsunami hunter – a job that was as unpredictable as his shows.

Yap began his performing career with a summer job at California’s Great America as a costume character. Simultaneously, Yap signed up for his first improv class at Ohlone College and has since taken a multitude of classes at ComedySportz and Made Up Theatre, and workshops and intensives at Improv Utopia and The Annoyance. Over the course of 9 seasons at CGA, he performed in various shows and has been a monkey, Gingerbread Man and a French Candy General at the amusement park. Yap is now a proud cast member of Made Up Theatre and ComedySportz San Jose, and a troupe member of Worlds Collide, Bottle Episode, and Improv Circus!

Christian has lived most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area and gets disoriented if not around mountains or large bodies of water. He began his formal improv education at All Out Comedy Theater in 2021 and has performed on AOCT House teams since 2022. From working “in the booth” for dozens of shows in the theater since 2023, to teaching, hosting open jams to performing standup, Christian has been standing in front of the improv/comedy firehose full blast. When he’s not going down some other rabbit hole, you can find him wrangling a feral teenager and learning how to cohabitate with an apex predator named Moose.

For the past three years, Sara Vee has served as the Musical Director for San Jose ComedySportz. Having also played on-field with the CSz Minor League, she knows the ropes from both sides of the keys. Beyond the ComedySportz turf, Sara has worked as a musical director for multiple musical improv groups, accompanying both long-form and short-form shows, as well as leading specialized musical workshops.

Kari Noelle is an improviser and Meisner trained actor with experience in films, indie content, and live performances. She studied and performed at Leela and Endgames Improv, and learned under a variety of coaches from BATs, UCB and Second City. She’s collaborated and produced with diverse teams in the Bay Area, and you can see more of her work on the web. Just google her! Kari has other hobbies too, but she is mostly having a blast with All Out Comedy's Main Stage and her indie team Juicy Fruits.

Mary Matabor got her improv start with Pan Theater’s Awkward Face and has dabbled with an array of troupes and side projects ever since. She has not yet quit improv, it’s just been lazily on her to-do list. Chick Flick, which she co-founded, is a true love so that makes it hard. She also likes Puppet Party pretty good. Ms. Matabor has mc'd and performed with troupes Ragged Wing, Wondertown and Puppette Party, among others, at assorted festivals for the snacks, and is formerly of the main stage troupe at All Out Comedy Theater. She contains a deep and abiding desire not to engage with people, which she undermines monthly by inventing entire relationships — marriages, rivalries, decades of unresolved tension — with strangers, from scratch, on a spotlit stage. She will vacate the theater immediately after the show ends.

Grant (He/They) has been an active performer and director in the Bay Area for over 20 years. He currently directs the Theatre Arts Program at Newark Memorial High School, most recently producing a musical production Alice in Wonderland and StarKid’s new Sstone age musical; “Firebringer” and Noël Coward’s improbable farce “Blithe Spirit”. In addition to directing and teaching, Grant regularly performs with Made Up Theatre, Worlds Collide, Flash Mob Musical, B.A.T.S., and Phasers on Stun as a musical director and performer.

David is the founder of Spats Improv in Berkeley CA, and teaches improv across the Bay Area at Provocation Theatre, All Out Comedy, and on occasion Improv Central. David delights in introducing folks to the joyful and rebellious nature of improv, and knows that with the right tools anyone can shine on stage. David has had dueling obsessions with UCB style game, and Second city short form, which has led him to performing at SF Sketchfest and the premier queer comedy festival of the Bay Area: Yas! And Fest in 2025 and 2026.
