Interrogation/Crime Story

Guessing Catch-Up

How to Play

β€œOne player has committed a crime, only they don’t know what the crime was, why they did it, or who they were with. Luckily, the cops interrogating them do.”

One player is sent out of the room to be the guesser, and the referee gets the suggestion of an activity that is not a crime, an unrelated motive, and an accomplice. The guesser is called back in and a timer is set for three minutes. The guesser takes on the character of a culprit, with the other players as detectives. Through increasingly less subtle inference clues, they will try to get the culprit to guess what they did. Once they culprit confesses to the crime, they will move on to the motive, and the accomplice. It must all be guessed before the timer is done. There are no final guesses.

With 4 players: 2 culprits helping each other guess, characters play off each other.
